From the Director’s Desk Dear Parents, Winter is officially over and we are all hoping that it finally starts feeling a little like Spring ! ! April has a lot going on with upcoming events and special dates here at Discovery Corner. During the week of April 14th to 15th, we will celebrate the “Week of the Young Child”. The Week of the Young child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The purpose is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and service providers. In addition, spring pictures will be coming up on April 2nd and April 3rd. Our Pre-K thru Kindergarten classes will also be taking their graduation pictures. Finally, we will have our very first fundraiser at Silver Dinner. The fundraiser will be on April 23rd. More information will come out shortly. Thank You, Nina Turner
